FALL 2026 SEASON REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS (Football and Cheer):

• Reside in Brunswick County
• Register and pay online (if you need assistance with registration fees and your child is currently enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC, visit Every Kid Sports to apply for The Fall 2026 Every Kid Sports Pass).
• Upload the following documents during registration:
  • 2026 Pop Warner Player Contract (Online): 2026 participant contract and parental consent form.pdf
    
  • 2026 Pop Warner Medical History Questionnaire (Online) 2026 physical fitness medical history form.pdf
  • Copy of your child's 2025-26 FINAL (End-of-Year) report card  - No other reporting period will be accepted
  • Copy of your child's Birth Certificate
  All documentation will be completed online and payment in full MUST be received in order to guarantee a spot on a team. 
  

FOOTBALL (Fall Youth Tackle 6U-14U):

• Practice is held at Northwest District Park, Leland, NC and will start July 15th and continue until the end of October.
• Practice will be a maximum of 10 hours per week  (Monday – Friday) until school starts and then will decrease to no more than 6 hours per week. 
• All practices will be held from  6:00 - 8:00 p.m, unless otherwise communicated by the coach.
  
• Tackle football players must complete 10 hours of conditioning before they are permitted to wear pads.  An additional 10 hours of conditioning with pads is required before scrimmaging.
• Required Equipment (supplied by parent/guardian):
  • Cleats
  • Shoulder pads   
  • Black (7 pad - including knees) practice pants
  • Groin Guard (Protective Cup)
  • Mouthpiece with lanyard helmet attachment (the mouthpiece cannot be clear)
  • NOTE: Helmets and uniforms are supplied by the organization, but must be returned at the end of the season.  Fees will be incurred for any equipment not returned.  Parents have the option to purchase their own helmet, however, it must be compliant (manufactured or reconditioned within the past year).  Pop Warner has instituted a NO TINTED visor policy.  If a visor is added to a helmet, it must be clear!
•  FOOTBALL IS PLAYED IN THE RAIN – practice and games.  Coaches or team managers will contact you if practice is cancelled due to weather or field closure.  Updates are posted on our website, Instagram, and Facebook. Please do not assume that practice is cancelled when other area fields are closed.  Coaches will provide practice status to parents during inclement weather.

CHEER (All Ages):

• Practice is held at Northwest District Park, Leland, NC and will start July 15th and continue until the end of October. 
• Practices will be held 3-5 times a week from  6:00 - 8:00 p.m, unless otherwise communicated by the coach.
  
• Fundraising opportunities will be available to offset expenses.
• We will participate in competitive cheer. 
• Competitions will be held locally, regionally and in Charlotte, NC this year!

GAMES:

• Games are held on Saturdays. Please keep in mind - especially if you have multiple athletes in different age groups or football players and cheerleaders – sometimes you will have athletes in different locations.  We understand that it can get hectic traveling from place to place and recommend that you get to know other parents on the team so that you can share rides and support.  We are all a part of the Broncos FAMILY!
  
• The League creates the schedule for all the associations.  We typically have our season schedule announced the last week in August, only a few days before our first game.  The season schedule will be posted on the Brunswick County Ravens' website, Facebook, Instagram and emailed as soon as we receive it.
